Family Visit

We were blessed to have visitors for the first two weeks of April. While we miss them dearly now that they’re all gone, we had a fabulous vacation. And as an added bonus, they left us with an abundance of precious American treats for us to enjoy. :)
For the first week of April, just Dave’s parents were here. We took a 2-day trip to Fez where we toured the leather tannery, purchased an array of unique pottery products, ate camel burgers, and witnessed an intense soccer fan fight. We spent the remainder of the first week in Casablanca where we fished and searched for paper nautiluses on the beach [we found three!].

Steve and Chelsey arrived on Easter Sunday. It was the first time in a long time that all the Grudda’s were finally reunited.
The 6 of us went on a 4-day road trip through Safi (Where we were given a private tour from a local potter), and then onward toward Essouaira and Marrakech. Highlights of the trip include surfing in Essouaira, camel riding in Palmarie, watching snake charmers in the square of Marrakech, and shopping for unique Moroccan souvenirs.
