7 Other Things Since Sierra Leone

     This blog could be rendered deceiving because our lives here in Morocco are far from extraordinary. We are quick to write blog posts about our international adventures....but we tend to forget about this blog when the vacations end and the craziness of our every-day lives catch up with us. Indeed, a lot has happened since Sierra Leone; however, a lot has not happened as well. Work and after-school tutoring/activities tend to keep our lives busy and uneventful. In fact, our lives have been so mundane that when we tried to think of 10 blog-worthy things that have happened in our lives since Christmas vacation...we could only think of 7:

1. The middle-school soccer tournament concluded with a 'threepeat'
of the previous two championships.

- three-peat /three-peet/ ::  noun  ::  The act of repeating something for a third time -

2. We took our landlord and his family bowling (for their first time) to celebrate Dave's 29th birthday.

3. We spent the brief, February vacation at an all-inclusive resort in Agadir, Morocco.

4. At the International festival, Nicole's was Canadian for a day.

5. Dave got into a minor surfing accident, which led to a 2-inch scar on his forehead.

6. We started taking French lessons through an intense, 4 hour/week program.

7. Our nephew, Rowan James, was born on March 13.
